温暖な気候がレモンの栽培に最適な環境で、中でも「大長（おおちょう）レモン」は歴史が古く、100年以上前から栽培されているので「国産レモン発祥の地」と言われています。
国産レモンの出荷時期は10月～5月頃まで。夏の時期に出荷できるよう、収穫したてのレモンを「密封包装して貯蔵する」ＭＡ包装技術（Ｐ－プラス）にて出荷されているのが、このＰ－プラスレモンです。
無農薬栽培ですので、安心して皮ごとお料理にお使いいただけます。
