The post ゆず(柚子) first appeared on 丸友中部青果.]]> 一般的な柑橘類と違い、酸味が強く生食に向かないものを「香酸柑橘(こうさんかんきつ)」と呼びます。
レモンやライムなども香酸柑橘です。
香りがとても良いので調味料に加えたり、お菓子や柚子胡椒など食味のアクセントとして人気です。
日本では昔から、冬至の日に湯船に柚子を浮かべて「柚子湯」に入る習慣があります。
「柚子湯に入ると風邪をひかない」と言われているからです。
柚子には血行を良くし、冷えや神経痛・腰痛にも効果があると言われています。
