キャベツよりは小ぶりで重さは1kg前後。
丸い形で「丸玉」とも呼ばれ中心部まで緑がかった色をしています。
葉はしっかりと巻いていて肉厚ですが、グリーンボールより更にやわらかいキャベツです。
生食向きで、サラダや漬け物・スープなどに適しています。
