「さがほのか」以来の新ブランドで、佐賀県・JAグループ佐賀・生産者が一体となり7年の開発期間を経て、15,000株もの中から選ばれたもの。
名前の「いちごさん」は“日本中の人に、長く愛されるいちごとなることを願って。呼びやすくて覚えやすい、清々しさとインパクトを合わせ持つ名前を目指した”として決められた。
「凛と美しい色と形」「華やかでやさしい甘さ」「果汁のみずみずしさ」が特徴。

The post とちおとめ first appeared on 丸友中部青果.]]> とちおとめは「女峰」の後継品種として、1996年に栃木県の農業試験場で生まれました。
女峰の特性である形の良さや色の鮮やかさを受け継ぎながら、粒は大きくて甘く、果汁もたっぷりです。
新鮮ないちごは生で食べるのがいちばんです。
口の中に甘酸っぱい果汁と豊潤な香りが広がり、いちごの美味しさを満喫できます。
ヘタをつけたままザルに入れてザッと洗ってください。ヘタを取ったまま水につけると栄養素のビタミンＣが水に溶け出し、味も水っぽくなってしまいます。
いちごは、ヘタ側よりも先端のほうが甘味が強いので【ヘタ側 → 先端】の順で食べると甘さが強調されてより美味しくいただけます。

艶があり綺麗な三角錐の形は見た目も美しく、味わいも濃厚で、糖度が高く酸味が苦手な方におすすめです。

希少価値が高く、一般では手に入りにくい幻の逸品です。
